1/2 C peanut butter
1/4 C powdered sugar
1/3 C flour
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 C sugar
2 C milk, scalded
3 Eggs
3 Tbsp margarine
1/2 tsp vanilla
6 Tbsp sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together peanut butter and powdered sugar until crumbly; place 3/4 of the mixture in the bottom of a baked 9-inch pie shell. Save 1/4 for topping of pie. Place flour, salt and sugar in top of double boiler. Stir in scalded milk. Stir constantly. Cook until thickened. Separate eggs. Place yolks in a small bowl and slightly beat with fork. Save whites for meringue. Add beaten yolks to milk-sugar mixture and continue to cook in top of double boiler for another 1 to 2 minutes. Continue to stir. After 2 minutes, add vanilla and margarine, Stir until margarine is melted. Pour mixture into the crust-peanut butter crumble mixture. Cool slightly. With electric mixer, beat egg whites until frothy; gradually beat in 6 tablespoons sugar. Continue beating until stiff and glossy. Spread over top of filling, sealing the edges. Sprinkle remaining peanut butter-powdered sugar mixture over top and brown in a 400º oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
