1 cup softened butter
250 grams cream cheese softened
1½ cups sugar
2 teaspoons grated lemon rind (optional)
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
1 cups all-purpose flour
1½ teaspoon baking powder
½ cup seedless raisins
½ cup golden raisins
½ cup mixed candied fruit or peel
½ cup chopped well drained maraschino cherries
½ cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Cream butter and cheese with mixer. Add sugar and mix well. Beat in rind and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.

Reserve ¼ cup flour; sift remaining flour with baking powder and blend into creamed mixture. Combine fruits and nuts; toss with reserved flour. Stir into batter

Pour batter into greased and floured 10 inch Bundt pan. Bake at 300° for 70 to 80 minutes. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes; then turn onto wire rack. Dust with icing sugar.
