Ingredients:  
1 lb. pea beans
1 tsp. baking soda
salt
pepper
bacon or ham pieces
1 onion, chopped
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 brown sugar
2 Tbsp. mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Sort beans. Place beans in a large pot and cover with cold water.
Bring to a boil. Add baking soda. Turn down and let boil 5 minutes.
Drain. Cover again with cold water, add onion and meat. Boil
slowly until beans are tender. Add molasses, mustard and brown
sugar. Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into a casserole and bake at 350 degrees F. until browned.
