Beef Brisket
1 medium onion, diced (more for topping sandwiches)
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Wrap the beef brisket in foil.
Bake in a 225 degree oven for approx 8 hours.
Let cool and remove all visible fat.
Slice or pull apart and layer with barbecue sauce

Good Housekeeping’s Spicy Country Barbecue Sauce

In a small saucepan bring the following ingredients to a boil
and then turn off heat. You may need to double the ingredients
if you have a very large brisket. The sauce freezes well if needed.

1 medium onion, diced
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
½ cup packed brown sugar
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
4 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon dry mustard

Bake another 3-4 hours if possible at 225 degrees.

Serve with delicious rolls and maybe sliced onions.
