1 - 8 oz package cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 eggs
2 cups sifted flour
1 tablespoon corn starch
3/4 cup well drained chopped maraschino cherries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
2 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:

Thoroughly blend cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each.

In separate bowl mix flour, corn starch, and baking powder. Put a small amount of the dry mixture into the cherries and walnuts then fold into batter followed by the remaining dry ingredients

Pour batter into greased 10 inch bundt pan and bake at 335 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes

"The original recipe my sister-in-law gave me said bake at 325 for one hour and 20 minutes. It didn't cook very well so I changed it to 335 degrees for one hour 10 minutes. Depends on your oven"
