8 lg. fresh cabbage leaves
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c onion chopped fine
2 c cooked rice (1/2 c raw)
1/2 c milk
1/4 tsp. sage
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can tomato soup

Directions:
Directions:
Cover cabbage eaves with boiling water. Cook five minutes;. Drain and cool.
In a skillet, stir and brown the ground beef and onion, using about 2 T melted fat. Stir in the cooked rice, milk, sage, salt, pepper. Take from heat. With a spoon shape meat into eight balls. Lay a ball in center of a cabbage leaf, fold over edges wrapping closely and fasten with wooden picks. lay prepared rolls in deep greased skillet, pour over one can condensed tomato soup diluted according to directions and simmer over low heat for 1/2 hr, serve at once.
