3 c. sugar
1 c. water
1/2 c. white syrup
1/4 c. butter
1 lb. raw spanish peanuts
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Boil sugar, water and white syrup until it threads (234º). Add butter, peanuts and salt.

Cook slowly and cook to 300º stirring occassionally. Add baking soda and vanilla. Put on two buttered baking sheets, pulling out thin as it cools.
