1 bag Pepperidge Farm stuffing
Butter
1 lb. country sausage
2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced (optional)
1 c. carrots, sliced and steamed slightly
1 c. onions, chopped
1 c. celery, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Follow directions on stuffing mix bag, but use 1/2 the butter. Brown sausage, mushrooms, onions, carrots and celery until sausage is brown. Drain extra grease off. Mix together stuffing and bake in a casserole for 30-40 minutes at 350 F.

Jim adapted this from his mother's recipe. The mushrooms are a nice touch, except if you're making it when Babe comes to visit!
