★ 2 sour dough or Italian sandwich rolls
★ 1 medium white onion, sliced
★ ½ large green bell pepper, thinly sliced
★ 1 tsp. minced garlic
★ ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
★ ½ lb. sirloin steak, very thinly sliced
★ 4 slices pepper Jack cheese
★ 2 T. olive oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 200º.
Wrap rolls in foil and heat in oven while cooking the meat and vegetables.
Heat oil in 10 inch skillet. Add onions and peppers and cook stirring until caramelized, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and black pepper. Add meat and cook 3 to 4 minutes more. Spoon mixture onto heated rolls and top with 2 slices cheese on each and serve.
