◾1/2 cup peanut butter (or other nut butter)
◾3-5 Tbsp pure maple syrup (click for a sugar-free alternative)
◾4 Tbsp cocoa powder
◾2-3 Tbsp milk of choice (or more for thinner frosting)
◾1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
◾optional: handful of chocolate chips (the “pieces”)

*If using PB2: 1/2 cup PB2 powder mixed with 4 Tbsp water to make 1/2 cup peanut butter. You do not need to add any milk to the recipe then.

Blend everything (including chips, if using) in a small food processor or Magic Bullet. Blend until smooth. Best to store uneaten frosting covered in the fridge. Yields 1 cup frosting
