4 oz unsalted butter
4 oz unsweetened chocolate - chopped
1 c brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 c flour
1/2 c cocoa
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 c chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate over hot water bath. Remove and cool to room temperature.

Beat together, eggs, sugar, vanilla and add cooled chocolate.

Sift dry ingredients together in separate bowl. Add dry ingredients to wet. Add chocolate chips.

Using a small ice cream scope (1 inch diameter) drop onto baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 325º oven for 10 -12 minutes.

These are now my most favorite, they have a bit of a kick but not too much and quite a pleasant surprise.
