1 pint strawberries, hulled
1 Johnson's Butter Flavored Ready Crust
1/4 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 envelope Dream Whip Topping Mix

*Optional crust - Walnut Pastry:
1/4 c. walnuts
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. margarine
2 tbsp. shortening
3 to 4 tbsp. ice water


Directions:
Directions:
1. Prepare whipped topping mix according to pkg. directions.

2. In a separate bowl, cream sugar, cream cheese and vanilla together. Fold in whipped topping.

3. Pour half of this mixture in the bottom of pie crust shell and cover mixture with sliced strawberries (reserve several whole berries for garnish). Cover sliced strawberries with remaining cream cheese mixture.

4. Garnish with reserved whole berries and chill for 3 hours until set.

*For optional crust:
1. Combine walnuts and sugar in blender, and process until finely ground. Combine this mixture with flour and cinnamon; cut in margarine, and shortening until crumbly. Sprinkle ice water over top - 1 tbsp. at a time - and work until mixture is moistened. Shape into a ball. Wrap in wax paper and chill for 15 mins. Roll out.
