3-4 lb brisket
1 box beef broth or stock
4 slices applewood smoked bacon
1 lb sliced mushrooms
1 large red onion sliced
French rolls
Sliced provolone or sliced Swiss cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon on stove top until done. Remove bacon and brown brisket ( fat removed ) in bacon drippings. Put brisket in slow cooker with crumbled bacon, sliced red onion, mushrooms and beef broth. Cook in slow cooker on low for 6 to 8 hours or until the brisket is tender. Remove brisket and slice...place back in juices and serve on French rolls with cheese and a side of au jus!
