Raw broccoli (about 8 oz.) diced
1 medium red onion chopped (1 cup)
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons. sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 pound bacon, fried crisp and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together and chill for about six hours before serving. It will keep for about 10 days.

Note: I put the broccoli and the onion in the food processor and then add the rest. It is faster, and I am a processor person. Some people had rather chop. Either way will work.

about 20 min. if you use a food processor plus time to fry the bacon.

Personal Notes:
When I fry this much bacon to be crumpled, I take my kitchen shears and cut in small pieces before I fry it. It is faster and easier to get crisp. My daughter, Jill, shared this recipe with me.
