4 T butter
5 T flour
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
3 cups half 'n half
1 tsp minced garlic
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
garlic salt to taste
Optional: 1/2 cup white wine

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in large sauce pan over medium heat. Gradually wisk in flour and mix until completely dissolved. Add the remaining ingredients, except the white wine. Stir continually and cook over medium heat until it begins to thicken. Sauce will thicken more after poured over the un-rinsed pasta. Add the white wine the last 5 minutes.

Pour over cooked fettuccine noodles and cool slightly while stirring to let sauce thicken. This recipe is great served with Caesar Lime Grilled Chicken.
