6 large apples (about 2 1/2 lbs), peeled, cored, & thinly sliced
2 c flour
2 c brown sugar, packed
1 1/4 c butter, melted
1/4 c water
2 c rolled oats
juice from 1 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine apples, water, & lemon juice in a 8x8 baking pan. In a bowl, combine oats, flour, sugar, & cinnamon. Pour in melted butter &stir to make crumb mixture. Spread (crumbly) over apples & bake at 350º for 45-55 minutes until crisp is browned.
