1 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. butter or margarine, chilled, cut into 8 pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 c. quick cook oats, uncooked
1 can (4 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
1 package (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Beat together brown sugar, butter and salt. Mixture will be lumpy. Add flour and oats, and mix until a crumble is made. Press about 2/3 of mixture (2 1/2 cups) into bottom of greased 13 x 9 pan. Leave remaining mixture in bowl.

In a 2 quart sauce pan, combine condensed milk and chips. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly, until chips melt. (Do not let chocolate burn!)

Pour over crust in pan. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Bake until lightly browned, 25 - 30 minutes. Makes 2 dozen (2") squares.
