1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1 egg
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
milk - enough to make a soft dough (but not sticky)

Filling:
Apples, peeled and thinly sliced

Sauce (beat together):
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Crumbs:
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted margarine

Directions:
Directions:
After you've mixed the ingredients to make the dough, sprinkle the counter with flour and roll to cover the bottom and up the sides of pie plates (about 1/4" thick).

Cover the dough with apple slices, overlapping slightly, one layer thick. Pour on some sauce, leaving apples just peaking through. Sprinkle with crumbs, then generously sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350ºF for a half hour.

There are more crumbs than needed, and enough sauce for double the amount of base, but it will keep covered in the fridge for at least a week or more.
