Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 boxes lasagna noodles
2-3 24 oz. jars of sauce
32 oz container ricotta
1 large mozzarella ball or 1 lb shredded mozz
1/2 c. Parmesan
2-3 eggs
2 lbs. of ground beef
1 tbsp. oregano and other Italian spices

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta according to instructions on package – al dente. Do NOT use instructions for lasagna made with uncooked pasta!

In a large bowl combine the cheeses and eggs saving some of the mozzarella and parmasean to sprinkle on top. Add spices.

Construction: Ladle sauce to lightly cover the bottom of the pan. Lay down a layer of pasta. Cover with ½ cheese mixture. Lay down a layer of pasta and cover generously with sauce, getting into the edges of the pan. Cover with meat mixture. Add more sauce as needed. Add another pasta layer and final layer of cheese. Add final pasta layer, cover with sauce, sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan - and spices as desired. A smaller pan will take fewer layers and cook faster.

This monster takes a long time to cook – at least an hour. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 45 minutes, uncover and continue cooking. When it’s close to done, with a sharp knife make a small slice in the center of the pie. Cook until the sauce bubbles up through the center (not just the sides or the center will be cold.)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
The ground beef can be replaced with sausage and ground beef, as long as the sausage is removed from its skin.
