1/2 lb. shortening
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 lb. sesame seeds

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream shortening. Add eggs, sugar and vanilla and beat well.

2. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Gradually add to the shortening mix to make a soft dough.

3. Take small amounts of dough at a time and roll into strips that are about 2 inches long and a 1/2 inch round.

4. Place the milk in a bowl and the sesame seeds in another bowl.

5. Dip the dough rolls into the milk first, and then into the sesame seeds. Place on a cookie sheet about 1 inch apart.

6. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees until golden brown.
