2 pkg yeast
1 tsp sugar
½ cup lukewarm water
4½ cups water (really warm)
6 whole eggs
Grated rind of 1 orange
1½ cups sugar
1½ cups light raisins
3/4 cup oil
3 egg yolks
3 tsp vanilla
10 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Put 4 1/2 cups of water in a bowl; add very well beaten eggs with 1 1/2 cups of sugar and vanilla. Add yeast mixture, flour and orange rind. Gradually add oil, a little at a time, and alternate with flour until all the oil is used up. Add raisins when dough is still quite thin. Knead very well. Let rise. Knead and put into loaf pans. Let rise. Bake at 325°F for 40 to 45 minutes.
