2 cups pidpenky (dried mushrooms)
1 large onion,diced
1 garlic clove, minced
6 Tbsp oil
4 Tbsp browned flour
4 cups hot water
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Soak pidpenky overnight. Drain and wash well. Add water to cover pidpenky and boil for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse well. Add water again and boil for 15 minutes. Drain and rinse again. Set aside.
Saute onion ,and garlic in oil. Sprinkle browned flour over onion mixture and add 4 cups of hot water. Stir well to make a smooth paste. Add drained pidpenky. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
If desired, you can fry dill with your onion and garlic.
