6 TBSP DRY YEAST
5 + 1/4 C WARM WATER
1 C SUGAR
3 TBSP SALT
6 LBS FLOUR
2 + 1 EGG YOLKS
1 C OIL

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl combine the dry yeast with the water and let it sit.
In the mixer combine the sugar, salt and half the flour and mix
Add the oil and eggs
Add the rest of the flour and mix until smooth
Pour in the yeast mixture and mix for 10 minutes
Let the dough rise for approximately an hour
Braid the dough and then it rise for 15 minutes.
Egg the challah and let rise for an additional 15 minutes
Bake at 415º for 15 minutes
Lower the oven to Bake 350º and bake until brown
