16 c. cleaned cranberries (ice cream pail)
6 onions
1 1/2 c. water

5 c. vinegar
9 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. salt
4 Tbsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. ground cloves
dash of cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook cranberries, onions and water until soft.
Put through fruit press removing pulp and seeds.
Add remaining ingredients to juice and simmer for 1 hour, stirring frequently.(burns easily)
Put in sterile jars, tighten lids. Place in canner, run water until it just slightly covers jars. Place on stove. Turn element on high, bring water to boil. once it starts to boil, let it continue for 8-10 minutes.
Remove jars and let cool at room temperature. You may hear popping sounds. This is the jar sealing (center of the topper will indent slightly). When you open jar it will also make a sight popping sound.
