Crust:
½ cup butter or margarine
⅓ cup packed brown sugar
1¼ cups flour

Topping:
2 eggs
1 cup packed brown sugar
¾ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1½ cups raisins
½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble butter, sugar and flour well. Press into a ungreased 9 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes.

Beat eggs and sugar together until light and thick. Add rest of the ingredients. Stir and spread over the bottom layer. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until the centre is almost firm. Cut when cool.
