Ingredients:
Ingredients:
¼ cup lukewarm water
2 teaspoons sugar
4 teaspoons yeast
Sprinkle yeast into the sugar and water mixture and leave until it bubbles.

4½ cups flour + an additional ½ cup
3 cups milk (warmed to lukewarm)
2 eggs
5 heaping tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon salt
2 squares (½ cup each) of Imperial margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the flour, sugar and salt. Mix in the yeast mixture. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Knead by hand in the bowl for a couple of minutes until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Let rise until it reaches the top of the mixing bowl, at least doubled in size.

Grease 3 baking sheets with melted butter. Spread dough onto pans. Leave to rest for about 10 minutes to make dough easier to spread in pan. Using greased hands, stretch (push) dough to fit. Let rise for 30 minutes.

Streusel:
Mix together 2 cups flour and ½ pound softened butter. Add ½ cup white sugar, 3 tablespoons brown sugar, ½ teaspoon cinnamon and ½ package vanilla sugar. May add more sugar if desired. Mix. May add more softened butter to get the right consistency for spreading. Sprinkle onto dough. May top with drizzled semi sweet melted chocolate, dabs of plum jam, prune plums inside up or shredded apples. If adding fruit, spread them onto the dough first and then add the streusel.

Bake at 350° for about 30 minutes or until done.
