20 kipfels
8 eggs, lightly beaten
Salt, pepper and parsley
Chicken base, 1 tablespoon
3 cups milk, heated
½ pound ground pork
2 onions, minced finely
Turkey and giblets

Directions:
Directions:
Kipfels should be dried a couple of days ahead. Dry kipfels in oven at 350°. Turn oven off and leave overnight. Slice into ½ inch pieces. Add eggs, salt, pepper and chopped parsley to the dried kipfels. Mix chicken base in ¼ cup water and add to the ingredients. Mix in milk and ground pork. Add mixture of 2 minced onions (fried) with finely chopped fried giblets. Stuff the turkey.

Place turkey into a roasting pan. Rub with salt and oil. Add a small amount of water to the bottom of the roasting pan. Cook in oven according to required time. Baste periodically with juices.

Approximate times for cooking at 350°:
8 to 10 lbs – 3¼ to 3½ hours
10 to 12 lbs – 3¾ to 4½ hours
12 to 16 lbs – 4 to 5¼ hours
