12 quart basket of Italian plums
5 cups sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash and pit plums. Blend in a blender until no chunks remain. Add sugar and taste. Amount of sugar used depends on the sweetness of the plums. May also add sugar during cooking process.

Put into a large roasting pan and bake at 250° for several hours until thickened. Stirring occasionally, add sugar as needed. Bake until good and thick, stirring so sides don’t burn. Place into pint jars and seal. May keep in refrigerator or freeze.
