1 onion, chopped
5 - 6 slices smoked bacon
3 large cloves garlic, minced
Flour
Oil (olive oil/butter)
Whipping cream
White wine
1 bottle chipotle sauce (marinade)
Mussels

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan add oil/butter, sauté bacon until softly cooked. Add onions and minced garlic cloves . Add flour to make a roux (a paste). Add whipping cream. Add white wine. Add chipotle sauce. Wash mussels in cold water then add to pan and cook for 7 - 8 minutes. Check consistency and add more wine or cream to make a semi-thick sauce. Add pepper and salt to taste.
