46-48 oz jar dill pickles (drained and sliced)
1 1/3 c cider vinegar
2 2/3 c sugar
12 whole cloves
2 large cloves of garlic sliced
1-3" cinnamon stick

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, vinegar, spices and garlic in saucepan. Bring to boil then simmer 5 minutes and let cool. Stir occasionally. Put pickles back in jar and pour syrup over them. Cover tightly and store in refrigerator 10 days. Every few days shake and turn jars over. This makes them crisp.
