3/4 lb. unsweetened chocolate
4 c. sugar
1 c. cocoa
2 c. hot water
2 c. light corn syrup (Karo)
7/8 c. sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. butter
1 can evaporated milk (14-1/2 oz.)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate in the top of the double boiler. Mix sugar and cocoa together and then add to the chocolate along with the corn syrup and hot water. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Cook to a rolling boil, about 10 minutes.

Add sweetened condensed milk and butter; cool; and then add evaporated milk and vanilla. Stir well.

This was one of my mom's recipes (Aunt Margaret), passed down by Aunt Emma and apparently Aunt Emma sold this recipe to a restaurant for big bucks!
