1/3 recipes sweet roll dough
Cherry-Apricot preserves
1 egg yolk

Lightly grease a large cookie sheet. On lightly floured pastry cloth, shape dough into a round. Pinch off a small piece of dough and reserve for centers. Roll rest of dough into a rectangle, 12x 8 ". With sharp knife or pastry wheel, cut into six 7" squares. Cut into pinwheels, arrange on cookie sheet, put 1 tbsp of preserves on each, fold up and place small circle in center of each. Cover lightly with waxed paper and let rise 45 minutes. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Beat egg yolk with 1 tbsp of water and brush roll before baking.
