2 1/4 cups flour
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter
1 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup molasses
2 tbsp. white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix flour, ginger, soda, cinnamon and salt
2. Blend melted butter, sugar and molasses. Beat in egg
3. Combine dry mixtures
4. Roll into 1 inch balls and coat with white sugar
5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 º for 8-10 minutes

Mom says "Another favourite cookie. When baked for the perfect amount of time they are soft in the middle and crack on the sides. We use to deliver these to my God Daughter Shelby Wells for her birthday each year."
