4 cups flour
2 cups salt
4 tbsp. creme of tartar
4 cups water
2 tbsp. oil

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large, heavy sauce pan combine all ingredients
2. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly especially across the bottoms and sides of pan
3. Cool and knead until the consistency of play dough
4. Divide into quarters and knead in food colour. Do this on waxed paper or cookie sheets as it will stain counter top.

Mom says " this made 4 margarine tubs full of play dough. We used this recipe many times in daycare and Girl Guide camps.
