2-1/2 cups Rice Krispies
1 cup chopped walnuts
1-1/2 cups dates
1 egg
3/4 cup sugar
1 stick margarine or butter
1 tsp. vanilla
Coconut to roll in

Directions:
Directions:
Put Rice Krispies and nuts into a bowl and set aside. Mix the dates, egg, sugar, butter (margarine) and vanilla. Cook until thickened; over kind of low heat. Mix in Rice Krispies and nuts. Cool slightly so easy to handle. Roll out to little balls about the size of a walnut. Roll in coconut and refrigerate. Buttering your hands helps to make the balls.
