13 cups shredded cabbage
2 onions finely diced
1 green bell pepper, finely diced
1 cup apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup oil

Directions:
Directions:
Place the shredded cabbage, onions and bell pepper in a large bowl.
Combine vinegar, sugar, oil and salt in a pan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Pour boiling mixture over cabbage mixture.
Cover and let stand until cool, then put into refrigerator.
Make day before needed to allow for marinating. Will keep for a long time in the fridge. Serve with slotted spoon.

*excellent served over homegrown tomato slices or pulled BBQ pork sandwiches.
