3/8 cup brown sugar (about 6 Tbsp.)
3/8 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. warm water
1-1/8 cup flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 pkg. (6 oz.) chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Mix brown sugar, sugar, butter and egg together. Dissolve baking soda in warm water, then add to mixture. Add the remaining ingredients, adding walnuts and chips last. Mix well. Drop by tablespoons on greased pan. Bake for about 8 minutes.
