1/2 C shortening
1 C honey (strained)
1 tsp salt
1 Egg
1/2 C sour milk
2 C flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening; add honey and egg. Sift flour; measure and sift with baking soda; salt and cinnamon. Add alternately with milk to first mixture. Mix thoroughly. Pour into a shallow well-greased pan. Bake in moderate oven (375º) for 50 minutes.
