10 medium apples, peeled and sliced, Grannysmith work well
3 Tab cinnamon
1 Tab. sugar
1cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup oats
3/4 tsp nutmeg
1 Tab. lemon juice
8 oz. butter, softened
3/4 tsp salt

Directions:

In a 8x12 pyrex baking dish, place prepared apple slices. Sprinkle with 1 T of cinnamon, 1/4 tsp nutmeg, 1/4 tsp salt, 1 T sugar, 1 T lemon juice , 2 oz. butter

In a separate bowl, blend together until crumbly, using a pastry blender, oats, flour, brown sugar, remaining butter, cinnamon, salt, nutmeg. Place crumble evenly on top of apples.

Bake at 350 for 1 to 1 1/4 hour.

Enjoy warm served with ice cream or whipped cream. Also good at room temp.
