ANGIE’S BREAD PUDDING

FOR THE BREAD PUDDING:
White Bread and Raisins
2 Eggs well beaten 2 TBSP SUGAR 1 TSP VANILLA
1 QUART OF MILK 1 PINCH OF SALT

FOR THE VANILLA SAUCE:

1 1/2 CUPS OF MILK
2 HEAPING TSP. OF FLOUR
2 TBSP of BUTTER
2 TBSP of SUGAR
1 TSP.VANILLA

Heat oven to 350Fº

Arrange bread slices in 8” square baking dish in layers sprinkling raisins in between layers. Fill dish ¾ full.
Mix eggs, 1 quart milk, and 2 tablespoons sugar, salt and vanilla.
Pour over bread and let it sit for an hour on the counter,
Bake at 350F for about 1 hour.

VANILLA SAUCE

Mix 2 heaping teaspoons of flour into 1 ½ cup of milk. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter with 2 tablespoons of sugar and add to milk mixture. Boil until thickened and add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
