Cream: 8 oz. cream cheese
½ cup butter (softened)
1 cup brown sugar
3 eggs

Add: 1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Put half of this batter in the bottom of a 9 x 13 cake pan which has been greased and floured. Spread filling on this batter and spread evenly then cover filling with remaining batter. Chopped nuts may be sprinkled on top of batter before baking if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
Mix the following two items together well to make filling.
1 large cream cheese (8 oz.)
1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
