2 cups buttermilk
2 1/2 cups flour
4 eggs, separated
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1/2 cup sugar
2 T melted butter
apple sauce
Ableskiver pan
Vegetable oil

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks. Add sugar, salt, and milk. Then flour, soda and baking powder . Last fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Place small amount of oil in each cup of pan and fill 2/3 full of batter. Cook until bubbly, turn carefully with fork. And finish baking on other side. Use toothpick or knitting needle to turn. Roll in sugar, serve with applesauce or jam.
