Personal Notes:
My Grandfather would always make a HUGE wooden bowl of this Greek Salad for every holiday gathering my family celebrated. Our family gatherings were always pretty big, with no less than 25 people coming together. The bowl would always be the first thing on the table and me and my cousins would find all the olives and run around with them on our fingertips. After my grandfather passed away my aunt continued the tradition and it is now the first thing you see when you visit her house on the holidays. As far back as I can remember, this has quietly been at the center of all our celebrations.
