1 c flour
6 - 8 oz beer
2 apples, unpeeled, sliced into small strips (like French fries)

vegetable oil
2 - 4 T sugar
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk together flour & enough beer to develop a medium texture batter.

Toss apples in the batter to coat.

Place apples in heated oil. Fry until golden.

Sprinkle hot fritters with sugar. Then dust with powdered sugar to serve.
