2 1/2 cups sliced fresh peaches
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 stick butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice peaches. Cover with first cup of sugar. Let set. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and milk. Put in pan in which 1 stick butter has been melted. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Canned peaches can be used but fresh is best. Recipe was found in Trinity Lutheran Church, Hinton, IA cookbook. Beatrice Muecke had submitted it. Beatrice and Harvey were long time friends of Homer and Magdalena Ritchie.
