2 lb minced white fish (half haddock and half cod or any similar white fish)
2 minced onions
2 eggs
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
pinch of pepper
5 oz medium matzo meal

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. With wet hands roll in patty or round balls,
FRIED:
Cook in deep vegetable or sunflower oil till brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot or cold.

BOILED:
Put water in saucepan with a sliced carrot and half a diced onion and with 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp sugar. Bring to a boil and add fish balls. Water should just cover the fish) Simmer gently for about 40 minutes. Serve hot or cold
Serve either fish with horseradish.
