2 tsp. minced jalapenos slices
2 tsp. jalapeno juice (from the jar of sliced jalapenos)
3/4 tsp. sugar (optional)
1/2 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
dash salt (optional)

Personal Notes:
I generally make 4 times the recipe to make sure I have some on hand. Do not use Miracle Whip ('salad dressing') as a replacement for the mayonnaise. If you use reduced fat mayonnaise, it tends to get runny if kept for more than a couple of weeks.

The original recipe calls for sugar but I never use it and don't really like the sauce with the sugar. I also don't add salt.

To make a milder sauce, omit the minced jalapenos and the jalapeno juice. Add 1 to 2 tsp. water to get the desired consistency.
