2 sticks butter or margarine
3 cups sugar
6 eggs
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 8oz. Sour Cream
1 tblsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. lemon flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 F
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. sift salt an baking soda with flour. add sour cream and flour, then lemon and vanilla. Beat well. Pour in to greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours, cake will pull away from sides of pan when done. Cool on wire rack for 10 min. then turn onto foil and wrap while still warm.
