"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

The batter will be thin.
To assemble: Oil the bottom of a 9X12 inch casserole dish. Spread a third (or half) of the batter evenly over the bottom of the dish. Next layer all the meat, onions, bell pepper, pimentos and cheese. Spread the remaining batter over the top. (The thin consistency of the batter allows it to blend down through the ingredients.) Finally, place the slices of jalapenos over the top of the casserole according to taste. Bake uncovered at 375 º for 45 minutes.
