Round Steak (Tenderized)
Salt & Pepper
Flour
Cream of Mushroom Soup & or Cream of Chicken or Cream of Celery
Number of cans of soup needed varies on how much steak you have
1/4 can of milk for each can of soup
Mushrooms (If desired)

Directions:
Directions:
Use round steak that has been tenderized, trimmed and cut into pieces. Salt and pepper steak and cover with flour. Fry steak until brown. Place cooked steak in an ovenproof pan or casserole with a lid. Pour cream soups with milk added over the steak. Add mushrooms if desired. Cover and bake on low heat (275 º or 300º) for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or so.

This was one of our favorite recipes Virginia Hibbard made on Sunday. It could be put together ahead of time and in the oven while we were at church. When we got home we just needed to mash potatoes, fix a veggie, have a salad ready, and lunch was ready.
